We’ve been a proud OBIC-certified installer for many years, and the main benefit of using OBIC products is a longer service life. Rigid materials are not forgiving when the ground moves under heavy traffic or during freeze-thaw cycles. In corrosive environments, this movement creates cracks and micro-fractures in concrete and mortar that allow gasses to attack under the coating and cause failure. Alternatively, OBIC’s polyurea’s tenacious bonding and elongation properties allow it to stretch and not crack. So let’s get technical in this blog post and go over more details of the sewer lining repair products.

OBIC 1000

OBIC Armor 1000 is a fast-set, spray applied, two component polyurea that is 100% solids and contains zero VOCs. It is has excellent corrosion protection and chemical resistance, even in subfreezing weather. It passed the ASTM G210 Severe Wastewater Analysis Testing (SWAT). It adheres extremely well to properly prepared metal, wood, concrete, fiber glass, and other various metal surfaces.

Generally installed in:

  • wastewater structures

  • manholes

  • wet wells and pump stations

  • EQ basins

  • headworks

  • grit chambers

  • clarifiers

  • digesters

  • lift stations

  • industrial wastewater structures

  • food processing plants

  • bridge decks

OBIC 1100

OBIC 1100 is a fast-set, spray applied, two component polyurea that is 100% solids and contains zero VOC’s. It is UL Certified ANSI/NSF 61 in specific colors, delivers excellent corrosion protection and chemical resistance, and has a high abrasion resistance for harsh environments. It adheres extremely well to properly prepared metal, wood, concrete, fiber glass, and other various metal surfaces.

Generally installed in:

  • large tanks and pipe systems

  • potable water containment

  • water treatment facilities

  • industrial facilities

  • food processing plants

  • bottling and canning plants

OBIC 1200

OBIC 1200 is a semi-structural liner system with higher abrasion resistance for 60” and larger diameter culvert lining and pipe lining in municipal or industrial applications. It is a 1:1, fast-set, spray applied two-component hybrid polyurea coating that is 100% solids and contains zero VOCs, with excellent impact resistance and abrasion protection. It passed the ASTM G210 Severe Wastewater Analysis Testing (SWAT).

Generally installed in:

  • storm water structures

  • wastewater facilities

  • steel structures

  • concrete pipe repairs

  • other municipal and industrial applications

OBIC 5000

OBIC 5000 is a structural lining that reinstates structural integrity, provides infiltration control, corrosion resistance and asset life extension of concrete, steel, masonry and other substrates. It’s a bonded, fast-set, spray applied two component hybrid polyurea coating that is 100% solids and contains zero VOC’s.

It delivers a quick return to service, high abrasion resistance for the harshest environments, and a seamless monolithic waterproof membrane that is tough and durable. It also passed the ASTM G210 Severe Wastewater Analysis Testing (SWAT).

Ideally suited for the rehabilitation, renewal or proactive protection of:

  • wastewater structures

  • stormwater structures

  • industrial process water system structures
